Lambak Kanan, Thursday 09 February 2024 – Four 1K1P (1 Kampung 1 Produk) entrepreneurs recently gathered for a Costing Workshop organised by Ghanim International Corporation (Ghanim) at the Lambak Kanan Industrial Park. The session aimed to equip local entrepreneurs with essential financial tools to better understand their cost structures and make informed business decisions.
The workshop was facilitated by Dk Hjh Saerah binti Pg Hj Petra, lecturer from the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) School of Business and Economics. Participants were introduced to key costing concepts, including direct and indirect costs, fixed and variable costs, and break-even analysis. Through practical insights and real-world applications, they learned how to manage expenses more effectively and enhance their business sustainability.
This initiative is part of Ghanim’s ongoing commitment to supporting 1K1P entrepreneurs in Brunei’s food industry. It aligns with the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the Ministry of Home Affairs, which aims to empower and uplift local businesses through knowledge-sharing, capacity-building, and market expansion opportunities.
