Lambak Kanan, Tuesday 26 August 2025 – Ghanim International Corporation Sdn Bhd recently hosted a Food Product Packaging Workshop at RBC’s Central Kitchen in Lambak Kanan Industrial Park.
This practical session was aimed at helping 1K1P (1 Kampung 1 Produk) entrepreneurs strengthen their understanding of effective packaging strategies and product safety.
The workshop welcomed four 1K1P entrepreneurs and focused on core concepts of food packaging, including material selection, functionality, and the role of packaging in ensuring product quality and safety. The entrepreneurs explored how different packaging types impact product shelf life and protection from contamination, and learned how to choose suitable packaging based on the characteristics of their food products.
As part of the programme, the entrepreneurs engaged in a hands-on packaging design activity, where they developed or refined packaging concepts for their own products. The session encouraged practical application of the day’s learnings and fostered peer-to-peer feedback through informal presentations and group discussion.
This initiative is part of Ghanim’s dedication to supporting 1K1P entrepreneurs in Brunei’s food industry. It aligns with the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the Ministry of Home Affairs, which aims to empower and uplift local businesses through knowledge-sharing, capacity-building, and market expansion opportunities.
